For those with GPS capability, here are the geographical coordinates: 33.21152 degrees N by 116.33339 degrees W. Elevation: 553 feet.

From Palm Springs take Interstate 10 south to Highway 86 south to County Road S-22 (in Salton City) and turn right.  Take S-22 west for 28 miles to Borrego Valley Road (the elementary school will be on your left at the Stop sign).  Turn left at the Stop sign and drive 4.0 miles; then turn right on Borrego Springs Road and proceed west one block to the American Legion Post 853 entrance on the right.

From El Centro, Brawley, or Westmoreland take Highway 86 north to Highway 78 west and turn left.  Proceed west 22.9 miles through Ocotillo Wells to Borrego Springs Road and turn right.  Go 6.2 miles until you come to a Stop sign (Casa del Zoro resort will be on your left) then continue straight ahead for one long block. The Post driveway entrance will be on your right.

From San Diego take Interstate 8 East to Highway 67 North.  Proceed on Highway 67 North through Ramona (Highway 67 becomes Highway 78 East).  Take Highway 78 East to Highway 79 North at Santa Ysabel.  Take Highway 79 North to San Diego County Road S2 (San Felipe Road) and turn right.  Follow S2 (4.6 miles) to the junction of S2 and San Diego County Road S22 (Montezuma Valley Road).   Continue on S22 for 17.1 miles to Palm Canyon Drive in Borrego Springs (turn right on Palm Canyon Drive). Drive 1.5 miles east to the traffic circle and turn right.  Go one-quarter of the way around the circle and turn right onto Borrego Springs Road (San Diego County S3).  Continue five miles and turn left into the driveway.  If you get to a stop sign, you've gone about a quarter mile too far; turn around and watch closely for the American Legion driveway. ALTERNATE ROUTE:   At Santa Ysabel, continue on Highway 78 through Julian, go up and over the mountain to County Road S3 (25.4 miles). Turn left and go 6.8 miles to Borrego Springs Road.  Turn left, drive one block and turn right into the driveway.

From Temecula take Interstate 15 to Highway 79 East through Warner Springs to San Diego County Road S2 (41.1miles) and turn left. Follow S2 (4.6 miles) to the junction of S2 and San Diego County Road S22 (Montezuma Valley Road).   Continue on S22 for 17.1 miles to Palm Canyon Drive in Borrego Springs (turn right on Palm Canyon Drive). Drive 1.5 miles east to the traffic circle and turn right.  Go one-quarter of the way around the circle and turn right onto Borrego Springs Road (San Diego County S3).  Continue five miles and turn left into the driveway.  If you get to a stop sign, you've gone about a quarter mile too far; turn around and watch closely for the American Legion driveway.
